Many will remember Tommy as a true craftsman with a love for airplanes.   I will always remember him as a childhood friend.  Even though we didn't get to see each other often as adults, when we did we enjoyed each others company, and we could always talk about planes.  Before we could afford radio control, Tommy built control line planes for racing, very light and very fast.  I do believe that he competed in the AMA Nats at lest once with control line speed.
