Ron Swindle is a fine addition to the club and has done a fine job as our newsletter editor since early in 2002. Ron started flying in Aug of 2001 and does a pretty good job for no more practice than he gets, he truly is a builder and prefers to build and repair planes rather than fly but you can always depend on Ron to be at the field at every opportunity and he is always willing to help out in any aspect at all the club functions and is a fine cook and always cooks our turkeys at the club fun-flys. Rons interests have moved into the micro planes and is always looking for ways to cut the weight out of a plane and currently building planes that weigh no more than 13 grams. Ron has been building a lot longer than flying and does a very good job at repairing planes which puts him into a category that is rapidly vanishing (TRUE CRAFTSMAN) Thanks so much for all your efforts Ron. | ||
